SVS Objectives Added to SVS Bylaws

At the June 2012 SVS board meeting Secretary, John Ricotta, MD, recommended the following amendment to the bylaws:

Article II. Objectives of the Society for Vascular Surgery

• Enhance the ability to provide care and serve disparate communities through a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

• Promote diversity and inclusion in vascular surgery education, training, and research.

The amendment was approved.
